Terms of Use (Acceptable Use Policy)

These Terms of Use ("Terms of Use") set out the rules of conduct that apply to your use of Catch Up. They are part of, and incorporated by reference into, our Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Terms of Service.

By using Catch Up, you agree to follow these Terms of Use. Violating them may result in content removal, account suspension or termination, and where appropriate, referral to law enforcement.

Note: "Terms of Use" and "Terms of Service" are sometimes used interchangeably. In this document, "Terms of Use" focuses on user behavior and content standards. The broader agreement covering accounts, payments, liability, and the legal relationship is the Terms of Service.

1. General Conduct

You agree to use Catch Up only for lawful purposes and in a way that respects the rights of others. You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations when using the Service.

2. Prohibited Content

You may not post, share, upload, transmit, or otherwise make available content that:

• Is unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, defamatory, libelous, or misleading.
• Is obscene, pornographic, sexually explicit, or depicts or promotes sexual exploitation, abuse, or non-consensual conduct.
• Sexualizes minors in any way, or that promotes, depicts, or facilitates child sexual abuse material (CSAM). We report CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children and to law enforcement.
• Depicts or promotes graphic violence, gore, self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders.
• Promotes terrorism, violent extremism, or organized criminal activity.
• Promotes hate speech, harassment, or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, or any other protected characteristic.
• Threatens, bullies, intimidates, harasses, or stalks any person.
• Reveals private or personal information of another person without consent (including doxxing).
• Infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, right of publicity, or other intellectual property or proprietary right.
• Constitutes spam, phishing, scams, pyramid schemes, or unsolicited commercial communications.
• Contains malware, viruses, worms, or any other harmful code or material designed to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorized access to systems or data.
• Impersonates any person or entity, or misrepresents your affiliation with any person or entity.
• Violates any law, regulation, or contractual obligation.

3. Prohibited Conduct

You will not, and will not attempt to:

• Access, tamper with, or use non-public areas of the Service, systems, or technical infrastructure.
• Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any system or network or breach security or authentication measures.
• Access the Service through any automated means (including bots, scrapers, crawlers, or data mining tools) except in accordance with our robots.txt file and any other published guidelines.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any portion of the Service, except to the extent permitted by applicable law.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, including by overloading, flooding, spamming, or mail-bombing.
• Use the Service to develop or train competing products or services, including machine learning or AI models, unless expressly permitted by us in writing.
• Use the Service in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair Catch Up or interfere with another user's use of the Service.
• Forge or manipulate identifiers to disguise the origin of any content or communication.
• Buy, sell, or transfer accounts, usernames, or any rights to use the Service.
• Solicit credentials, payment information, or other sensitive information from other users.
• Use the Service to send unsolicited promotional messages, advertising, or chain letters.
• Engage in any other conduct that, in our reasonable judgment, restricts or inhibits any other user from enjoying the Service or which exposes us or any user to liability or harm.
• Encourage, assist, or enable others to engage in any of the above conduct.

4. Account Integrity

You agree to:

• Use only one account, unless we expressly permit otherwise.
• Provide accurate registration information and keep it current.
• Not share your account credentials with anyone else.
• Not allow another person to access the Service through your account.
• Promptly notify us if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account.

5. Intellectual Property and DMCA

If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, you may submit a notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) to our designated agent:

Your notice should include:

1. A physical or electronic signature of the rights holder or authorized agent.
2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
3. Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, with sufficient detail to locate it.
4. Your contact information.
5. A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material is not authorized.
6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the rights holder.

We may remove material we believe in good faith to be infringing, and we may terminate accounts of repeat infringers.

6. Reporting Violations

If you encounter content or conduct that you believe violates these Terms of Use, please report it through the in-app reporting feature or contact us at Support@catchupapp.ai. We review reports and may take action at our discretion, including removing content, warning users, suspending or terminating accounts, and notifying law enforcement.

7. Enforcement

We may, but are not required to, monitor activity on the Service. We may investigate any suspected violation and cooperate with law enforcement authorities. We may take any action we consider appropriate, including:

• Removing or refusing to display content.
• Limiting access to features.
• Issuing warnings.
• Suspending or terminating accounts.
• Pursuing legal action.

We may take action without prior notice, in our discretion. Decisions about enforcement are final and at our sole discretion.

8. No Reliance

Content posted by other users does not reflect the views of Catch Up. We do not endorse, support, represent, or guarantee the truthfulness, accuracy, or reliability of any User Content. You should not rely on User Content without independent verification.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms of Use at any time. If we make material changes, we will provide reasonable notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms of Use.
